How did you develop a passion for pulmonology/sleep medicine/critical care? Rotating in the ICU at Grady Memorial Hospital as an intern with Marc Moss as my attending.

What’s your best method for preparing for your presentation? Find interesting cases.

Who has had the biggest impact on your professional life and why? Too many to list here! David Schulman, my fellowship director and a master educator. Pierre Kory getting me hooked on ultrasound. Micah Fisher and Tim Williamson teaching me pulmonary hypertension.

What do you hope to see while you’re visiting San Antonio? Armadillo Boulders climbing gym. I love to visit climbing gyms in different cities.
