Who are the CHEST Challenge 2020 finalists?

It’s time to meet our competing finalists for the first-ever virtual CHEST Challenge at CHEST 2020! Fellows from many training programs took part in an online game earlier this year. The top three teams will play a Jeopardy!-style format live game show at the CHEST Annual Meeting. This year, the championship will be held Tuesday, October 20, at 6:00 pm.

The CHEST Challenge 2020 Championship is sponsored by Mylan.

How did you prepare for this year’s CHEST Challenge finals?

Our institute has a strong didactic structure that focuses on pulmonary physiology and pathology alongside clinical practice. In addition, we augmented our knowledge with e-learning opportunities available through CHEST, particularly SEEK library and CHEST Board Review.

Who do you think is your biggest competitor?

Both NYP Brooklyn and SUNY downstate are amazing institutes, and we consider them equally strong competitors.

If you could choose a team mascot, what would it be?

POCUS (Point of Care Ultrasound)

If you could choose a team uniform, what would it be?

White coats and medical scrubs—“the critical care style”

What is your team cheer or theme song? Why?

“Last Breath” by Future (featured in Creed). It signifies the importance of “never losing hope.”

If you win, how will you celebrate?

We will rejoice with a socially distanced celebration, which may involve some cake!

Prepared with Chest 2020 Pulmonary Board Review and SEEK Questions as well as more hours of studying than there are lung nodules in hypersensitivity pneumonitis.
