Pardon the Interruption 2021: Controversies in Critical Care FINAL ROUND

Tuesday, October 19, 11:15 am – 12:25 pm*

“CHEST routinely does an excellent job with creative and interactive sessions, and this was no different. President-Elect Dr. Schulman flexed his moderating skills while Drs. Bosslet, Burkart, and Goldenberg tackled hot topics within critical care medicine. There were East vs West debates, dissection of recent articles, and debates galore. You’ll want to watch and see where you stack up in the final and best version of Pardon the Interruption!”

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Bronchoscopy: Year in Review

Tuesday, October 19, 8:00 am – 9:05 am*

“Year in review updates always keep me current on different topics in pulmonary medicine. In addition, I get to hear potentially different interpretations and opinions by experts, which may challenge my current understanding. It reminds me of why I entered academic medicine.”

Ventilator Basics to Advanced Modes

Monday, October 18, 11:00 am – 12:05 pm*

“This session did a great job of reviewing things we deal with on a daily basis, as well as challenging me to explore and consider things I’m less comfortable with. The session on dyssynchrony was a particularly good overview to help you recognize and manage patient-ventilator interactions. I also appreciated their focus on working with the ventilator rather than over-sedating the patient.”

*Live session recordings may not be available until approximately 48 hours after the original session time.
