Celebrate a rich history of clinical and educational excellence—and look to the future of chest medicine—at CHEST 2025, October 19 to 22, in Chicago.
CHEST shares much in common with Chicago, home to the organization’s world headquarters, said CHEST 2025 Scientific Program Committee Chair, Sandhya Khurana, MD, FCCP.
“Chicago is a dynamic blend of innovation, boldness, creativity, and diversity—a hub for leading-edge science, the birthplace of the modern skyscraper, and a cultural melting pot shaped by its many communities,” Dr. Khurana said. “It’s a place where tradition and innovation coexist, forming a multifaceted identity that feels both familiar and forward-looking.”
Similarly, CHEST 2025 will reflect on the 90th anniversary of the organization’s inception and the first CHEST Annual Meeting in 1935, while also highlighting what’s on the horizon. CHEST 2025 will explore the latest advancements in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine, with a focus on innovation and the future, just as the city itself embodies progress and reinvention.
Help shape next year’s curriculum by submitting ideas for interactive lecture sessions, educational games, pro-con debates, and other innovative formats. The CHEST 2025 Call for Topics is open now through Wednesday, December 4, at 2 pm CT. Proposing a session is an excellent way to carry over inspiration from CHEST 2024, collaborate with multidisciplinary experts, and ensure that the CHEST 2025 experience is full of learning opportunities that are relevant to your patients and practice.
“There are so many reasons to attend CHEST. It is a great way to stay up-to-date with the latest advances in the field while connecting with colleagues and friends from across the globe,” Dr. Khurana said. “CHEST makes learning fun, and Chicago will be a terrific host for next year’s meeting!”
