Make some furry friends while at CHEST 2019

Don’t be afraid to pet any dogs you see at the convention center at CHEST 2019—that’s what they are there for! This year, CHEST has partnered with Take Paws Rescue, a local nonprofit animal rescue in New Orleans to bring furry friends to the annual meeting.

Take Paws Rescue manages a “Stray Cafe” where people can come to sip, socialize, and adopt. The idea is that potential adopters can come and be introduced to the dogs, and they can be matched into their forever homes.

We know the meeting is jam-packed with incredible learning opportunities, hands-on courses, and informative sessions—but at some point, you’re going to need a break. Unwind by meeting and playing with the many dogs that Take Paws Rescue will be bringing to the Experience CHEST area inside the Exhibit Hall. The dogs will be in the Experience CHEST booth from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

And you’re in luck—if you find a dog that you’re in love with, you can adopt it! All of the Take Paws Rescue dogs at CHEST will be available for adoption.

Be sure to stop by Take Paws Rescue during your breaks to make some K9 friends!
