Program Description
Patients with pneumonia are frequently overtreated with empiric antimicrobials. The BIOFIRE® pneumonia and respiratory panels deliver fast, accurate pathogen identification in about an hour, enabling physicians to determine appropriate therapy quicker. Join Dr. Assad as he illustrates the use of molecular diagnostics and procalcitonin for pneumonia in the critical care setting.
