Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency – Strategies to Optimize Screening, Diagnosis, and Management

Program Description

A panel of faculty experts will use case studies to spark discussions on the etiology and pathophysiological mechanisms involved in A1AT deficiency and its associated manifestations; the importance of targeted screening using recommended assessments and early diagnosis; methods for determining the clinical efficacy of augmentation therapy; and recommended disease management strategies.
