Breathtaking Updates in Functional Lung Testing and Imaging

October 18, 2021 from 6:30 am - 7:30 am CDT

Supported By: Polarean Imaging

Program Description

Early detection and differential diagnosis of chronic lung diseases can prevent disease progression and reduce symptom burden and time to treatment—ultimately improving patient outcomes. Commonly used, noninvasive standard-of-care tests lack the sensitivity to identify early, local deterioration of function underlying respiratory diseases. Advances in imaging are opening the possibility to observe lung functionality and structural changes with enhanced sensitivity. In this CME live symposium, experts will discuss challenges in conventional lung function and structure tests, as well as advances in imaging, and how they contribute to more meaningful and early targeted detection and monitoring of complex chronic lung diseases.
