Expand your education at CHEST 2022 with Spotlight Sessions, offering you a deeper look into clinical areas that interest you most. These sessions focusing on various issues relevant to a specific clinical area or topic are a great way to expand your knowledge and improve your understanding of specialized tracks. Many Spotlight Session tracks also offer a certificate of completion to show your mastery in the topic.
There will be seven Spotlight topics to choose from with two to 10 sessions available in each*:
- Asthma (6 sessions)
- Session content will address topics including: biologic mechanisms and pathways, guideline updates, and emerging therapies to optimize outcomes.
- Bronchiectasis (2 sessions)
- Session content will address topics including: diagnosis and management of non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis and novel agents in bronchiectasis.
- Pulmonary Hypertension (8 sessions)
- Session content will address topics including: choice of therapy for patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), disparities in PAH, management of pulmonary hypertension (PH) in patients with interstitial lung disease, and management of PH in patients with left heart disease.
- Lung Cancer (10 sessions)
- Session content will address topics including: diagnostic evaluation, guideline updates, lung cancer and the role of the pulmonologist, biomarkers and staging, lung cancer disparities, and survivorship.
- Interstitial Lung Disease (10 sessions)
- Session content will address topics including: emerging diagnostic technologies, updates on both pharmacological and nonpharmacological treatment and management options, and management of ILD post-COVID.
- Pneumonia (2 sessions)
- Session content will address topics including: diagnostic testing, treatment strategies, and emerging therapies.
- Cystic Fibrosis (2 sessions)
- Session content will address topics including: antibiotic selection during pulmonary exacerbations and ICU specific considerations for patients with cystic fibrosis.
