Even though the live portion of CHEST 2021 has come to an end, there are still opportunities to engage with the wealth of knowledge presented at the meeting. We created Education Spotlights to help you delve into an area of interest in a focused, streamlined way.
Education Spotlights are curated selections of CHEST 2021 sessions on a particular clinical topic, like asthma, COPD, and pneumonia. The Spotlights—available exclusively to CHEST 2021 registrants—offer a straightforward path to expanding your expertise in an area that’s especially relevant to you.
When you finish a Spotlight, you’ll receive a certificate of completion to affirm your new level of mastery. Earn your certificate in three steps:
- Watch all the sessions in the Spotlight.
- Take the post-assessment.
- Fill out the evaluation questions—then collect your certificate.
Since there’s no limit on the number of Spotlight certificates you can earn, we encourage you to take every track that’s relevant to your practice.
Each of the eight Spotlights ranges from two to 10 sessions. Start with the track that’s most essential to your clinical work or research:
- Asthma (9 sessions)
- COPD (9 sessions)
- Cystic Fibrosis (4 sessions)
- Interstitial Lung Disease (10 sessions)
- Lung Cancer (8 sessions)
- NTM Bronchiectasis (2 sessions)
- Pneumonia (2 sessions)
- Pulmonary Hypertension (5 sessions)
Sessions cover up-to-date advancements in diagnosing, managing, and treating each disease state. Dive deep into instruction that covers advanced care planning, patient outcome improvement, critical care strategies, health disparities, and the effect of gender on certain conditions. In the lung cancer and pneumonia tracks, you’ll also discover new developments related to the impact of COVID-19.
When you complete a Spotlight, you’ll receive advanced training to serve your patients with cutting-edge expertise—without having to invest time in finding cohesive curricula. Start enhancing your skills and boosting your career with the Spotlights that are most important to you.
