CHEST 2022 may be over, but you can still access targeted education relevant to your interests and practice with Education Spotlights.

Each Spotlight offers a curated selection of CHEST 2022 session recordings on a particular clinical topic, like cystic fibrosis, interstitial lung disease (ILD), and severe asthma, offering a straightforward path to expanding your expertise. Available for free in the e-Learning Library to CHEST members, Spotlights offer continuing education credit for clinicians as well as certificates of attendance.

There are seven Spotlight topic options available, with two to 10 specially selected session recordings in each:

  • Severe asthma: Session content covers developments in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of asthma, with a focus on severe asthma.
  • Cystic fibrosis: Session content covers topics such as antibiotic selection during pulmonary exacerbations, management of acute and chronic respiratory failure, and diagnostic and imaging techniques.
  • Interstitial lung disease: Session content covers topics including emerging diagnostic technologies, management of ILD after COVID-19, and selecting pharmacological and nonpharmacological treatments.
  • Lung cancer: Session content covers topics including guideline updates, the role of the pulmonologist in lung cancer management, and survivorship.
  • Nontuberculous mycobacteria and bronchiectasis: Session content covers topics such as novel therapeutic agents, diagnosis of nontuberculous mycobacterial infections and bronchiectasis, and patient management.
  • Pneumonia: Session content covers topics including diagnostic testing options, treatment strategies and emerging therapies, and optimizing patient outcomes.
  • Pulmonary hypertension: Session content covers topics including disparities in pulmonary arterial hypertension, management of pulmonary hypertension in patients with ILD, and therapeutic decision-making.
